This 20x20 inch painting is acrylic on gallery edge canvas. It was created in 2023. The sides of the canvas have been painted black, so there is no need for a frame…unless of course you want one! The painting comes wired and ready to hang. Please note:

  • Shipping is included in the price of the painting (Paintings larger than 12 x 16, will be removed from the stretcher bars and sent in a mailing tube to reduce the risk of damage.) You can easily have it re-stretched at your local frame shop. If you prefer to pay for large package shipping, just message me.

  • If you are local, I am happy to do porch drop off for you.

Recently, I’ve been coming across more and more memes and tiktoks of people my age talking about how they became interested in bird watching…and that’s when they realized they were old. It makes me laugh because it is definitely relatable. But it also makes me appreciate getting older. We live in a society that is beyond infatuated with youth. But there are a lot of beautiful things that happen to us as we age. One is that we begin to realize and appreciate the detail and magic in the nature that surrounds us. Taking the time to explore the intricate details of birds, flowers, and leaves…it makes us aware of just how precious this human experience is. So this painting is a visual reminder…a reminder that we are surrounded by beauty – we just have to take a closer look.
