You may have heard of a diptych or triptych, a set of two or three pieces of art that make a whole. Well, this one is nine pieces, and it turns out that it is referred to as a polyptych. The whole idea behind this painting series is love and acceptance. We live in such a judgmental society, which is often hurtful and ostracizing. Too often, I often forget the power I possess…the power to create an environment of love and acceptance around me, for anyone I interact with. So here it is as a painting…love and acceptance in all its glory - every color, every shape, every dimension, every direction - all stemming from the lens we choose to see the world through.
